ClawMote is a macOS desktop application developed by Nexus Opportunity Holdings LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data ClawMote does and does not collect.

Data We Do Not Collect

ClawMote does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect your name, email address, usage analytics, telemetry, keystrokes, button presses, device information, IP addresses, or any other data from your Mac.

Local Data Storage

ClawMote stores your device profiles and button mappings locally on your Mac in the Application Support directory (~Library/Application Support/ClawMote/). This data never leaves your computer.

License Validation

When you activate or validate a license key, ClawMote communicates with the LemonSqueezy API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) to verify your license. This request includes only your license key and a locally generated instance identifier. No personal information is sent. LemonSqueezy's handling of purchase data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Website

The clawmote.app website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services. Device purchase links on the website are Amazon affiliate links. Clicking these links takes you to Amazon.com, which is governed by Amazon's own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

ClawMote itself connects only to the LemonSqueezy license API. The app does not integrate with any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

ClawMote is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the revised date. Material changes will be noted on the ClawMote website.
