Terms of Service

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using ClawMote ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. ClawMote is developed and published by Nexus Opportunity Holdings LLC ("we", "us").

License Grant

Upon purchase of a valid license key, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use ClawMote on up to two (2) macOS computers that you own or control. This license is perpetual for the version purchased.

Free Trial

ClawMote includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you may use all features of the Software. After the trial period expires, a valid license key is required to continue using the Software.

Purchases and Refunds

License purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, our payment provider. All sales are final. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents the Software from functioning and we are unable to resolve it, contact us at support@clawmote.app and we will work with you on a resolution, which may include a refund at our discretion.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sublicense, sell, lease, or rent the Software or your license key. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software. You may not share your license key publicly or with other users. You may not use the Software for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

ClawMote, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of Nexus Opportunity Holdings LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

System Permissions

ClawMote requires macOS Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions to function. These permissions allow the Software to detect button presses from your wireless mouse and remap them to custom actions. ClawMote does not log, record, or transmit any input data. You may revoke these permissions at any time through macOS System Settings.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ClawMote is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hardware device.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Nexus Opportunity Holdings LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

Third-Party Devices

ClawMote is designed to work with third-party wireless mouse devices. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party hardware manufacturers. Device compatibility is provided on a best-effort basis. Amazon product links on our website are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
